Ceramic or natural stone tiles are a popular choice for bathrooms. When you choose colours, consider natural tones to bring out the light of the room.
If you think tiles are too cold to walk on during winter months, you can install radiant floor heating which will keep your feet warm and heat the rest of the room. If your budget will not permit a floor heating system, consider placing rugs throughout the room.

4. Consider your comfort.
Putting a comfortable chair in the bathroom can add to the appearance of the room, but will also make the room more appealing by providing a place to sit down after taking a bath.

When selecting furniture for your bathroom, choose your colours carefully. You want the colours of the bathroom to have a calming effect, so choose soft natural colours. Similarly, when choosing lighting, pick soft lights that compliment the room. Adding vases, plants, and candles in your bathroom is also a nice touch.
